Our Mission
Elevation has spent a lot of time thinking about how to positively affect today’s younger generations in a way that will give them the skill set they need to help carry them through life. We believe in commitment to helping the community and doing all we can to invoke the belief that one can change the world in which they live one person at a time.
We understand that athletics is just the first layer of our mission. Elevation uses athletics as a means of getting kids active and interested in learning off the court. Our participants gain perspective and build the necessary skills and insight to always strive for new goals and see beyond whatever their circumstances they may have. Through our camps, clinics, and partner programs, we have touched many lives and communities.

Education
One of our core beliefs is in the necessary co-existence of Education and Athletics in order for the student athlete or the every day individual to have an enriching experience and function at their highest level. We strive to give our kids the tools, mentors, coaches and resources that will give them a solid foundation for their future.

Our Team
Daryl Roper is the Founder and Director of Operations for ELEVATION.
He’s a graduate from California State University, Fullerton with a B.A. in Ethnic Studies and a B.S in Physical Education. Currently Daryl serves as a teacher and former Head Coach for the Varsity Boys Basketball Team at Crossroads School in Santa Monica. He has been an educator and coach for over 25 years where he has won several CIF State Championships and has been recognized as the CIF Southern Section Coach of the Year on multiple occasions.
Daryl Roper & Dianne Enselman
Dianne serves as Elevation’s Assistant to the Director. She is also responsible for the implementation and programming of ELEVATION’S basketball camps weekend workouts and community service events.
She earned her B.S. in Earth Sciences from Eastern Washington University and is a teacher at Crossroads School for over 20 years. Dianne has consistently tutored elementary/secondary age students in math.
