Meet your Workshop Leaders
Bryan Jolly was a Division III All-American basketball player for Claremont McKenna College before playing professionally in the Czech Republic for two years. Since then, he has found a calling in various health-related fields. He holds certifications across multiple disciplines, including a CSCS, Pose Method Running and Olympic Weightlifting. He has been teaching Physical Education at Crossroads School for 5 years, has revamped the Wellness curriculum. In addition to teaching he has been coaching boys basketball, track and cross country at the middle school level for seven years. Athletically he now dabbles in long distance running and recently placed 2nd overall at the Santa Barbara Red Rock Marathon and 3rd overall at the Bandit 50k.
Andrea Wilkinson boasts an incredibly broad and complex skill set. As an accomplished teacher with almost a decade of experience teaching physical education, Andrea has specialized in yoga and basketball for the majority of her life. She played college basketball at SUNY Cortland and studied yoga in India, New York and Los Angeles. She has been the head coach of the girl’s JV basketball team at Crossroads School in Santa Monica for the past three years and a varsity assistant for eight. She additionally piloted her own successful yoga program at the middle and high school levels at the same school. Her unique experience allows her to understand the complicated dynamics that arise from trying to be competitive at a high-level athletically while using your mind as a tool and a gift to help elicit a peak performance.
